Jay-Son has been playing with vinyl since the early 90’s, with influences from the disco scene in the 70’s, electro and dance from the 80’s, the London rave scene, early US garage, and progressive house amongst others, and following all the way through to the modern day house and indie dance scene…

Always hungry for new cutting edge tracks, the appetite to amass a large collection is never satisfied, and the excitement of sharing a rare find, or knowing exactly when a track would really work is par for course. Embracing new technology within the sets but being flexible to strip back to bare basics when the time is right, and really focus on the music selection and journey one is being taken on, through on point selections.

One half of the Alternative Disco duo, known for throwing all sorts of beats and grooves down in the mix.

Producing under several monikers, but releasing under the Jay-Son alias with the Italian ‘GLF Records’ imprint and Kenny Summits label ‘Good For You Records’, featuring artists such as the legendary Frankie Knuckles and Eric Kupper. Dipping his toes now into the indie dance and darker side of things, sees a release forthcoming on Parissior’s upfront and very much on trend ‘Espacio Cielo’ label.

“Favourite track if pushed would be Magic Juan’s mix of Inner City, Good Life. All these years on, it still sounds so fresh and sharp”…..
